@Vasigan - you would probably benefit from tempering your tone a bit. You are quickly but surely losing the sympathy you've built up from your experience with Fullywound.
This reads a bit like the infamous Ev3rcle4r or whatever he called himself when he tried to explain why he wasn't in it to make a profit from his watch selling 😁
Yes you are definitely a Kostas plant trying to present the “other perspective”
If you went through what I did with Kostas you might just be able to understand why I would take exception to your innuendoes and underhand remarks. I think the majority of watch fanatics on this forum are smart enough to accurately piece together this situation with Kostas, and that’s enough for me as the more people that are aware of him the less would-be victims and also just a small chance there would be one less fraudster to deal with.
Anyway I think it is senseless wasting my time replying to your particular messages as you obviously have an agenda that is contrary to the benefit of all on this forum.
The only thing one sided on this thread is your baseless and not fully thought through comments.
If you can read properly and can understand the pattern of other members’ threads about their own experience with Kostas then you would have been able to put two and two together so to speak.
You sound more like someone who is covertly trying to defend Kostas.
Another thing, I did not make out anything ... so what if I have a website to attract would be sellers ... you obviously can’t read/see properly because I don’t actually sell watches (plain speak in case you still can’t understand... there are no watches for sale on my website). I have found best way to build a solid collection is to do what some dealers do and that is do the unattractive job of finding the watches instead of just waiting for luck. I turn over half of the watches in my collection regularly either because I want to upgrade or make a small profit.
I like the efficiency of this thread - now I know two dealers I'll be avoiding in the future
I try to avoid all dealers if possible...
Is it me or is this Kostas chap still dealing on eBay under a different name?
I can’t seem to find them now but I saw a couple of watches (possibly a Rolex 6694?) listed under a different username but clearly following his template (waxing lyrical about a load of old tosh, along with ‘the dial’ in red letters, followed by a bloated description that makes no mention of the spotting and overall tired appearance of the dial in question).
Well, it looks like Elvis has left the building- after he shit the bed this morning. He achieved his desired goal though- we all know about Kostas and it's soured his credibity with anyone here that wasn't familiar with his MO. I wonder if the OP is stirring the pot over at TRF and WUS unless they questioned his story as well.
I'm all for public awareness when there are sharks in the water, but don't be surprised and outraged when people do a little background checking (surprise! - watch hunters are good at internet searches) and find the story is a little more complex then first conveyed.
As have I. Here and elsewhere. I have to concur. Let us not use such a broad brush.
