I immediately checked with the brand; it's not in the current catalog and not available. A very beautiful Watch indeed.

I desperately wanted to like this. When I first saw it inline I nearly fell out of my chair. When I saw it in the flesh at a local store my first impression was disappointment due to the size.
39 or 40mm was just too big. On the wrist it took up the same amount of real estate as a Panerai.

sigh...

Lots of nice contenders, but this 1960s example of the Museum watch in 14K gold is still my favourite dress design.

I've never got a chance to try it on but your story reminds me of how I felt about the VC Overseas. It just didn't work on my wrist.

A Roger Smith Series 2 would be the watch to satisfy all of my desires. Doesn't get much finer than this. Unobtainable, but one can dream.

I vote for the sports watch that is actually a dress watch, but is still a sports watch...

Ditto, and the crown looks vulnerable

Another great reminder that one should almost always try a watch in the flesh before pulling the trigger.

killer piece, and fits what I said. But I was specifically thinking about a watch that was originally designed as a sports watch but is now considered a dress watch.

Polo, game played on horseback between two teams of four players each who use mallets with long, flexible handles to drive a wooden ball down a grass field and between two goal posts. It is the oldest of equestrian sports.

So no need to be a “rich man” to play the sport/game. Thank you sir.
