Was out with my buddy on a gravel ride and we saw two coyotes hunting a pack of elk. Pretty spectacular!
Holy crap I wish I had scenery like that. All I get is pavement and people trying to hit me with their cars lol.
I love the first picture. Beautiful scenery and a classic Cannondale with the fat downtube. Is that a 1989 SM 600 by any chance? I like the Profile handlebar with integrated bar ends as well. Ned Overend used bars like these back in the days...
Got it on and took it for a quick spin. Right off the bat it was more comfortable. I will have to get a decent ride in with the little one to really see how it feels. If I like it, I may have to get a narrow one for the TCR to replace the Fizik.
Still no update on the Brooks as I still have not used it lol. BUT, there is a new Danny Mac video out... And one of the bikes I "built" 10 years ago when I thought I was Danny Mac lol
Been watching his videos for the last 10 years and they still continue to amaze me. The control he has us just unreal. It is literally just another body part for him.
Impressive bike you've got there. I've been working on some improvement with mine and currently installing the protaper handlebar I got last December.
Anyone got any upgrade plans this year? My 5 is currently in bits, have been very distracted by the idea of an HT build of a Curtis AM7, just like this- In the meantime a small upgrade on the spin bike while parts arrive.
Nooope. It's down to the AM7 or a Kingdom, with the former in the lead due to beautiful brazing and welds.
Heck, I just want to get out and ride this year! The last time the road bike saw the pavement was July. And I can technically ride year round so I don't have the cold weather/snow excuse. I have the kid strapped into the hybrid almost every weekend though for trips to the park. But that is not much of a ride...
Anyone ride a Specialized Diverge? I recovering from my third head injury (diving board, bike and car) and am now suffering from head, neck and upper back pain. After about an hour I need an extended break to recover. I've been thinking of getting a Diverge to help dissipate road noise. Any thoughts?
Hey, I have an AM7 That's an Alex Moulton AM7, all at sea here. It has now had a few components robbed to keep another Moulton going and what's left is pretty worn -- I've owned it since 1983.
That's kind of my idea, a bike for 'life'. I've given away the last 2 hardtails I've built, but I'm now missing riding one so have decided upon a frame for life. Obviously unless I completely stack it....
