I ride to work every day! Love that it funds my watch addiction through saving me gas money hahaha. Currently on a really cool vintage Columbus tubed bike with shimano 600 everything as my commuter as the real road machine is a little expensive to be sitting at work
I have owned an old 2005 Mongoose teocali elite full suspension for the past 5 years, it was getting tired and the frame bearings needed replacing.... I should have stopped at that, but ended up doing a complete rebuild, sand blasted, powder baked frame, new everything. getting NOS 26 inch wheels and forks is getting harder with MTB's moving to 27.5 and 29 inch. the 2008 SID boxxer WC 100MM travel forks where a lucky find, still in box with lock out... A mixture of XT & XTR compenents Pretty happy with the end result
Hello! Out in the rain I see, and what is in the bottle you cannot drink from -- tools? I don't think my backside has been that far above my head since the last time I dived into a pool
Yes, tools. Jajaja yeah is not an easy position to ride jajaj but once you get use to it you wont ever go back to normal
At my age? Fastest (and most comfortable) bike I have is my recumbent. Hmmm, no photos on this computer. Need to get some backup CDs out. I've had the 'bent 21 years now so the photos go back to the 35mm time.
Nice commuter! Cramerotti built great bikes. Or, rather, he had some fine frame builders in Italy build his bikes and badge them with his name. The late Robin Williams was a dedicated roadie who bought at least one Cramerotti when he filmed here in the mid-1990s. Giuseppi Cramerotti, with all his quirkinesses, is missed here on the coast. I bought a Basso from him in the late 90’s, and Campione Cyles was a great option back when Bicicletta’s arrogance rankled. Sadly, when I last visited, Cramerotti’s Calgary store was a messy shit show of confusion and disarray.
Proud finisher of the Alpenbrevet Gold tour. - Sustenpass - Grimselpass - Nufenenpass - Gotthardpass 5096 hMeter, 165km Though day, but such a privilege to be able to do this race.
There’re some stunning pictures here! For me no landscape like above, but I do have a nice view on my watch while cycling
Old school for sure but .....Custom build circa 2006. RST22..Sport Touring ... Campi Centaur. Brooks saddle, Mavic Axium ( second set ) ... Waterford is a frame maker in Waterloo Wisconsin. Richard Schwinn is the owner. This is the former Paramount factory so they still service those. They build for a lot of folks like Shinola and Rivendell.
2006 -- shoulda picked up the clues in Aheadset and low spoke count wheels. Although I've had (and still have) a number of Brookes saddles my favourite perch is a Selle Italia that came on a new Moulton spaceframe in 1983 and is transfered to whatever is my current touring bike, now Airnimal Joey.
