i gotta say after looking at the pictures on TRF i like it even less

i mean.. they'll sell a zillion of them. but so many things one can do with a blue dial and they went for flat matte blue ?

This is nice. I'm in the seemingly less vocal group that finds the proportions of the ETA based Black Bays to be the best proportions of any of any watches in the Black Bay line, including the BBGMT, which I own and wear the most frequently of any watch in my collection.
Happy to join you in the minority group. Love my ETA Black Bay Black, and it's less than 1mm thicker than the 58.

BB ETA is 41 mm, 12.7 mm thick and 50 mm lug to lug.

BB58 is 39mm, 11.9mm thick and 47.7mm long

The ETA is a nice size watch and has a great, easy to read dial but I feel that for wrists under 7” the BB58 is just a better size. Plus it’s nice that Tudor has fit a COSC in-house movement witH 70hr power reserve in a sub-12mm case

The thickness measurement alone doesn't tell the full story. The case sides and how it wears make a big difference, as does the lug to lug as mentioned. BB58 is just perfectly sized for me (6.75" wrist).

It's all right and probably great on the wrist, but I think I prefer the look of the standard Black Bay Blue, with the black dial. I'd love to try one of these on to see for myself, but given the way Tudor operates it'll probably be at least 2 years before one will be in open stock at an AD

So close yet so far lol.
I like it - the fact it’s a nod to the old one but with a more modern look. Works for me, and I’m looking forward to pairing it up with my other BB58

I don't like the square indices of the Snowflake, or especially on the Pelagos.

I like that! 10/10 would buy even if it looks like a Halios Fairwind

Put myself on the waiting list of my AD. Can't wait to see it in the flesh.

I talked to my AD and they offered me one but the blue is not what I expected. I think there are some other watches that I would buy before this one. I have the original BB58 and love it. So for now that is the only Tudor in my collection.

No, I did not. And to tell the truth, with all the pictures and videos already out it didn’t really excited me to even try to see it. I think I would save that money for something else.

I could not be happier. In the sun it's a vibrant blue, but in the shade / indirect light, it's almost identical (in shade) to my vintage Tudor Subs. This is exactly what I wanted when the original one came out (which I've worn the ever loving sh** out of as well), as I loved the original Black Bay blue but couldn't handle the dimensions and would have preferred a blue dial like the vintage Subs.
