Can’t work out if I love or hate it!! Dial looks great but not sure about the insert.
What I don’t love is the auction estimate 12-13k.

I don't get it. Why do you want to make a Sub look like a Michael Kors mall watch?
Haha I just thought the same 😁
It is strange how a company like this can destroy a Sub and sell it way above list price..

I believe thats from the early days of Bamford, I don't think they are doing anything with Rolex now. Now you can do your own custom with them or pick from stock. Also now have an alliance with TAG/Heuer. I just picked up this Monaco.

This is spot on.
Kahn was very nearly a client of mine (he wanted a new showroom in Leeds)
I went to the then existing showroom in Bradford.
Full of his customers’ high end Mercs, Bentleys, Astons and of course the classic ‘footballers Range Rovers’
They take perfectly good cars and turn them into something very nasty and charge a fortune for the privilege - made you weep just to witness the carnage - much like the OPs Rolex.

People hate on any Rolex modifications and Bamford has certainly taken its lumps in the community. That being said they always seem to hold a good value and sell fairly easily on the second hand market. Somebody is buying these....

A business acquaintance I know bought an Aston Martin Vantage then took it to Kahn for modifying. £50k for the pleasure of turning a classic into a monstrosity. Then 2 years later when he went to buy a new Aston he took it in to get a px value and they politely declined to make an offer on it. In the end he accepted £70k for something he'd plowed nearly £180k into in less than 2 years. Madness.

Money has never installed good taste in those that have it but there is a interlect that thinks if it is "different" and costs stupid $'s it must be super extra bewilderingly GOOD.
EG gold plated/diamond encrusted Lambos/ Ferraris ect in Saudi.
Would you buy one if you had the loot ?
I very much doubt it if anyone here would.
