Looks kinda like a Naoya Hida too.

The promised accuracy of +-20sec for the movement is, honestly, a little meh. But kudos to Baltic for releasing a 36mm, with breguet numerals.

Looks like a Lobinni, to me. And they're already giving me 66% off, too! 😀

I seem to be in the minority here, but I like it. Wanted to buy one but apparently sold out quickly.

I don’t think your necessarily in the minority, or perhaps you are but I also think I would have picked one up I pointed out some things I didn’t like but overall it’s nicely done. I did not know they were limited and numbered or at least I think that’s what it said when I went to purchase one, at which point they were all gone making the decision for me.

Sure they have a notification list to sign up. I did that with the GMT. Looking at reactions on the Dink, this one is their most polarizing design and too close, IMO, to other lower priced configurations using this movement. Still, can’t argue with success, it’s sold out. A nice uniquely Baltic retro dresser with a Swiss movement…come on Etienne!

Its lovely and classical but after looking at the dial long, I kinda miss the 7 and 8...

Watchfinder just posted a hype video for the MR01. It actually looks pretty impressive on the macroshots.

And being the ever impressionable consumer, I'm now really fighting the urge to hop in on the current pre-order. I only have to stay strong for another 8 and a half days...

Under that same WF video on YT, you'll find a comment, now turned into a long thread, of people complaining how bad the movement actually is.
This is still 700€ for a consumer electronics paraphrase turned into watches: "produced in the far east, assembled in France".

It’s not my favorite Baltic either but…..Buy it if you like it. Don’t if you well, don’t. Baltic takes good care of its customers, I’ve experienced that, and seems to be doing well enough to keep growing. It's not a disposable watch. Lot’s of idiotic comments as per usual for You Tube.

Got to agree, get it if you like, it certainly stands out.
As for disposability, we'll see in 10 years time, whether movement parts will be available and if these movement withstand time.

I own a baltic. Real workhorse. I still can't square this one. It's like a few different time periods in one so it just feels confused to me. Also why off-center the seconds hand?

Re movement - any reason to yay or nay the movement? Is it new or something around that everyone can have opinions on?
