·I am no expert, but to me it looks pretty wonky...look at the legs on the A from Apollo...but still right in format/layout? Could the inscription have been reduced by over-polishing the case-back?

·Totally legit. The first few had this thin engraving, sometime later changed to a wider engraving with a laquer filling
