Lots more Ferraris / Maseratis / McLarens around the horsey areas than I ever saw in Silicon Fen. My Lotuses were as exiting as it got most places I worked while there.
Yep, the horse world certainly has money... Lotuses... ? How many? I'm at two but about to put the Elise up for sale
yep, all the Apollo AstroVettes are still around (remember the gold-colored Corvettes for Apollo 12, or the white, blue & red for Apollo 15 astronauts) and Armstrong's astrovette: .
Really interesting article on Al Bean's Stingray in last November's Octane magazine. One of several illustrations below:
Shark Blue mmmmm.... I hope they get this up on the configurator soon so I can waste some time at work hah.
I can't stand swan neck wings. Totally understand the benefits for the track but on the street it just looks really silly. Can't wait for the (what I hope is inevitable) Touring package reveal
I believe they confirmed it during the event for sometime next year. I don't dislike the wing on the 992 GT3...but just makes me wonder what the RS wing will look like lol. I'm worried it may be a little much.
I've never really been too keen on the super-focused track day cars, for me the regular GT3 is pushing the sporty balance to the limit of comfortable usability. Being stuck at home in the winter with a sports car that hates things like weather and long drives will mess with your value ideals in ways that 20-year-old you would never have anticipated!
But look Brad, whichever blue it is, you're apparently presented with a matched-colour chronograph! 'Free Inside' is an old-fashioned sales ploy, but surely new-to-Porsche?
Ok well that sold me. Where do I sign? Hah. The online builder is up on the Porsche Europe website. A little buggy though...as they tend to be at first.
