Here's a couple of 300sl Coupes and a Roadster from an event at the Portland Art Museum about a decade ago.

Do you remember what the blue car to the right is? Has a Lancia vibe but I'm not well-versed in Italian classics.

Might as well toss in what's arguably one of the most notable 300sl's ever, the 1952 LeMans-winning #21 owned by Bruce McCaw.
Shot these at the 2012 Forest Grove Concours d'Elegance for a car blog.

Isn't this Ural on the first picture?
That ugly lump is my old Dnepr... easily and consistently able to get worse gas mileage than the Ford LTD my wife was driving back then. Even Ural owners have been known to look down on them!

While I was working at JFK airport I got to see some pretty cool cars-
Hell yeah you did! That F1 is insane, and either of those blue Bugatti's would work just fine. Did you get to drive these on the lot at all?

Mostly they would come already loaded on the cargo pallet, the Bugatti’s were driven into the warehouse and I almost got to drive one because no one else knew how to start it (press the brake while hitting the start button - not rocket science!).
I did get to sit in one tho!
Was very tempted to go on a joy ride, can you imagine the insurance claim if something was to happen?!

Well I mean, you've got 4 runways right there.... can think of much worse places to joyride! (Yes, I know they're active, and they are a very bad place to joyride lol)

So, BMW are finally producing an M3 wagon, now that is something I can get behind.

Except...

That'll be a big nope. Still, super cheap on the used market.

I was so stoked about this piece of news, and then I remembered the current looks. Boy, do I still get wet dreams from the thought of an E46 M3 Touring...

I did a bit of shopping at the weekend, turns out all the limo/ 7 series buyers and drivers are insisting on the black trim to dull the, er...massive snozz holes.

Now that is a graphically intensive grille, so much going on. This is the one that self actuates depending on airflow needs I realize. I actually like the new larger grilles, not that they are better visually but I enjoy the drama of them, similar to the Lexas predator mouth which is just as polarizing.

I was super excited as well but then remembered I live in the US where we get all the shit cars.
Let me rephrase...when it comes to the cool cars...we don't get shit.
I hope to the car gods that Audi manages to sell a good amount of RS6 wagons here.
I was very surprised when that news broke. So if it does do well, hopefully the manufactures will see that there is a market for it.
The average American does not seem to want a wagon, but for those who do, they are willing to pay a premium.
The E63 AMG wagon starts at like $110k, as does the RS6, and I know the AMG wagon sells.
Even looking at the used market, there are people still paying a ton of ,money for used AMG wagons, or even the right spec CTS-V wagon.
Just give us the wagons!!!!!

I agree, love any wagon or shooting brake (2-door wagon). We are seeing some crossover designs like the Panamera and CLS wagons too which is great. Those AMG wagons are the current trend among my peers but I don't own one. Another bud is about to pick up a used Ferrari FF to use as his Home Depot run/dog hauler vehicle. The only thing better than a fancy wagon is seeing a fancy wagon actually being used.

@vbrad26 I wouldn't kick an AM Vanquish Zagato out of bed either. Apologies in advance for tingling your bits, or alternatively, you're welcome.
