I always loved car spotting in Manhattan.
Here are a few from the brief period I used instagram while living there.
Apologies in advance for the potato quality.

Tell you something funny about that Mazda. Last year I'm picking up my step-daughter from a sports event and she tells me where to go and that she and her friend are standing behind this red vintage hotrod parked next to the sports field.

So I drive back and forth looking for her, call her and she's like we can see you, we're behind the old red hotrod with the big thing on the back. I'm looking around for a '32 Ford or a Mark 1 Mustang or something. I see them waving from behind a red Mazda RX-7, an FD, not even an old one. I told her that car was still being made in the 2000s, what do you mean vintage hot rod?

She says it looks like one of those vintage cars that old men put big wings on the back of. I'm only 37 but she made me feel very old that day.

Haha don't you love it when you're unintentionally roasted by your children? Happens to me on a daily basis lol.

If only you had the real full size ones hiding in the basement!
As a kid I had some of those models, I had the white Mustang with the red stripes the AMC Marlin in blue not red and the Porsche

Maybe I'm out on a limb for saying this...

But, having the the real ones is a billionaire's ego trip.

This collection, and the well executed photo to that documents it, is a beautiful thing.

3 of those cars when real are relatively affordable.....the Mustang Buick and Marlin can be bought for relatively modest money, the hot rod on the end would be unique as would it's buyer so a value on the real car would be a guesstimate at best as it would depend on the cars history and who wants it bad enough to pay big. the other two, what looks like a GP Vanwall and the Porsche are the only ones worth stupid money in reality. Even that would depend on the individual cars race history, as to with it's worth stupid money or extremely stupid money,
So only two maybe three are likely to be exclusively filthy rich bastards playthings.

I haven't watched that 919 lap in years. It is like watching a "regular" GT car lap in fast forward hah.
