I hadn't noticed it, I am sorry, not that internet savvy, bit of a Digital Neanderthal. Even Eric Clapton would not be able to compete with this photo though
I thought fakes were not allowed here.馃榿

24 litre W12 Napier Bentley at full chat

And off the throttle when the next corner appears on the horizon馃榾

In the same Goodwood race, "Brooklands Trophy" for pre WWII cars, it was mixing it with a couple of these. Brave men and women in these tiny three wheelers with that big monster around.

Cheers, Chris

An eclectic mix of some of my past drives -

If you still had that BMW E30 325IX in RHD I'd be making an offer on it right now, especially if it was the 5MT, those things are rare as hell especially with all the options and M-Tech 1 package that yours looks to have.

Parting with that is high on my list of regrets along with my 1936 Morgan and Audi Quattro, the one with the digital dash and probably the most expensive spark plugs of the time.

There's a BMW club member with a mint example identical to yours in blue that brought it out from Japan for around 26K GBP in 2013, you can get the M3 for less than a mint M-Tech IX these days.

Spotted at car meetings.

It is one of 3 Marlins that were part of AMC's stand at the Geneva Car Convention in 1967.

One was returned to the US - fate unknown

One was sold to Sweden - fate unknown

This one stood with its first owner in Switzerland for about 40 years until it found a new home with a German collector. It has been serviced and repaired but hasn't been restored, yet.

1958 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 - its first owner was King Bauduine of Belgium

Mercedes W115 220D Binz Station Wagon - it's from a time when Mercedes hadn't started to build their own wagons. Binz Coachworks built about 250, of which most were used by fire brigades or as Mercedes roadside assistant vehicles. This one is even rarer because it has been privately owned since new. Back in the day it was as expensive as 3 new Opel Rekord C Wagons which had more horsepower, more chrome and a better styled rear end.

A "GM Ranger", build in Biel, Switzerland. It's based on an Opel Rekord C but it's very rare. This one is all complete, even the original hubcaps and sales-brochures are still with it.

Very nice @philo thanks for sharing, really enjoyed your post.馃憤 Used to have a W115, 1975 230 sedan, the gasoline version and loved it. The diesel versions were much more common in the states back then. Seeing that grill and front end brings back many memories of that car...

Funny thing is that while I had that W115, my neighbor had a Marlin as can be seen in photo.馃槑 Lived in Denver CO at the time.

Love it....

I see two options for your "Boodle Kit"

An English vehicle with Lucas electrical..... a Kit and Ka Boodle may be required....馃槜

Or a Proper English Boodle Kit for most all other occasions. 馃槈
