Considering the bad quality of your pictures, here are my thoughts without any guarantees...
Mk 1 dial is right with the serial number and the most desired with the rail dial.
End links 585 are the correct ones.
Clasp should be marked VD or VC if the bracelet is original to the watch.
Case looks sharp.
Insert looks like later but could be right as the watch should be 1980.
Original 610 m. anchor is very desirable.
Now what is the asking price ?
Good luck.

More interesting...
Does he have the anchor ?
Why is the calendar card 1986 ?
Did he have it serviced and the insert swapped and the case polished ?

I think it is a fair price, but the watch has to be flawless...
I would try to get answers to the above questions and check everything.
Is the bracelet original, etc...
The sea dweller is not the best investment compared to GMTs and subs. But it is rare to find one in very good condition with box and paper for most were used as tool watches and suffered a lot. Tourists bought the sub and professional divers bought the 1665 which is heavier and used to cost more for the same appearance.

What are your thoughts?
You seem to start a lot of threads asking opinions on potential purchases but don't offer your own thoughts.

I’m still learning David but by far no expert like many others on here I’m on this forum everyday as I love watches sorry if I come across that way but don’t mean to

There's absolutely nothing wrong with starting numerous threads asking for opinions. It's positively encouraged. However, I do think it's good form to state your own thoughts and concerns even if you're a complete noob.

I’d want to rely on myself as an expert if i was shelling out £14 large on a watch.

And I certainly wouldnt rely on forum members i have never met, to vet a watch with such lousy pictures

Think its time to take a step back and do some serious studying first
