I've been a lurker but this is my first post.
I have what appears to be an opportunity to buy an Aqua Terra. I've owned a couple of vintage Omegas but nothing from the modern era where replicas exist.
Please take a look at the photos and tell me what you think.
Thanks in advance.
Jeff

Looks good to me.

Do you trust the seller?

He's local and has been good to me so far. A few years back I purchased a Rolex Datejust from him. He allowed me to take it to be verified. I don't think that he'd intentionally sell me a fake watch. I'm more concerned that he doesn't know..

While I would guess there's a market for fake everything in watches I would guess there isn't that big of a market for fake SS AT's.

I'd think that the market was small as well but you can buy the replica of this watch with a simple Goole search. It really looks good.

In the Philippines I've seen fake Timex, Michael Kors, Invicta, you name it. If it's made, it will be faked.

In that case, I've got an authentic piece of shit quartz Michael Kors chrono I was gifted by an old girlfriend in the mid-1990s I would like 25k for.
Thank you.

I know that you're making fun but I actually bought a fake MVMT watch a few years back. I thought it'd be a nice beater. Ebay gave me my money back and I got to keep the watch but I'd rather not repeat the experience for multiples of the price. I don't have a high end collection but it doesn't include fakes. (Fake MVMT gone).
