·I am chasing down an older generation AT with the old movement but thinner and better size for me. I have decided I really like the above references but am bothered by a couple of things:
On one example on line there was spotting on the gold hands
One example referred to hands having been replaced at service.
Now I know I dribble on about gold hands and indices endlessly, but was wondering is there any known issue with the ones on this model. Gold is pretty inert, but does anyone know of any problems as I wouldn't expect deterioration on an 18 yr old watch of this type? Could it just be lack of servicing in hot climate?
