There a few things more annoying than having your ass pulled off a piece of gym equipment and told to go back to your apartment for using the facilities you pay for that are meant to be able to be used 24 hours a day at 1AM just because some Karen complains.

Like the amount of motivation you need to get out there and do it is significant, and for a person who chose to pay 25% less rent because being on the gym level is noisy to complain does my head in. Covid did my weight no favours and I’m trying to fix that while I’m still young enough to get away with it but man it’s frustrating sometimes.

Stationary bike man, takes little floor space, you don’t even have to put on pants.

lol can't believe that's my 20k post but yep... thing is though, 1AM is late no doubt but treadmill on a rubberised anti-shock floor, 60m away from two heavy soundproof doors, apparently it wasn't even noise but "vibrations of my footsteps" like the T-Rex in Jurassic Park

Make it a routine I say, at least 3x a week @ 1am if it is a 24hr facility. Rules are rules after all, we don’t get to pick the ones we like. 😜

This is my 18th day in a row doing midnight to 1AM, first time its been an issue but I want to do something every day even if one day a week is an easier day.

Don't let them get you down. Exercise is important but it is a huge mistake to think you can eat what you want if you exercise. Generally speaking, most of us over eat and plenty of people who exercise regularly over estimate the amount of food they need to compensate for exercise. I bet if you cut your portion size in half you would lose weight very quickly.Or even better, weigh your portions. 100g of carbs and 200g of what ever else you are having and the weight will fly off you. If you are hungry drink fluids and eat something protein rich. Protein is very filling. Even protein drinks are a good option. Good luck with your exercise, next time just punch Karen in the willy and tell her to bugger off.

If you start at 11:55 pm you’d do two workouts a day.

18 days in a row is interesting strategy, how do you rest/regenerate? and is it easy to you to fall asleep after the workout at 1am?
