Trivia: the day is quickset by pressing the reset pusher when crown is in position #1 while the date is quickset by 'normally' rotating the crown.

Regrettably, I sold it a while ago. So when this opportunity came up, I didn't hesitate and went for it.
I believe that these Omega green dials from the 70s look fantastic.

·I went with something a little different for my first watch purchase of 2026. The original plan was to buy the large, blue dial version but I ended up going with the classic medium with silvered opaline dial. I prefer wearing this on the alligator strap over the metal bracelet.

·The month of May brought two completely different watches.
I wasn't planning on buying anything at the Windup Watch Fair. However, the Marathon TSAR caught my eye and I ordered one at the booth. It fills the role as a rugged, solid diver when I don't want to wear an Omega or Rolex.
The second purchase of the month was a Tank Must de Cartier large model. Cartier's sizing is a bit odd as the XL model is ridiculously big while the Large model borders on being too small. The large Tank Louis, which is a little bigger than the large Tank Must, would be ideal but I couldn't justify the price even before the recent price increase.
I really don't care for the bracelet so I swapped it out for an alligator strap. I figure I will give this watch six months to see if I like it. If I don't, I will give it to my sister.

·Really nice linen dial DeVille. These textured dials are often stained but this is practically flawless.
