Yep. I've bought from him before (1680, Tudor 7016/0 Sub), very smooth transactions.

A few mates have picked up some very special pieces from him and been very happy, he's also the only guy I can recognise from his watch photography as easily as Mike

Looks superb!

It's a very late (1983) example with Mark V dial. I wonder why Rolex had not used a cal. 3075 by this time (as in the 16750), with quick-set date. I guess they knew it was being phased out for the newer Explorer II model (which looks to me much more like an albino Submariner and is not nearly as distinctive).

That second gen EXP2 I think is going to be something that drifts into the past rather unloved, the new one (third gen) looks great as does your first but that second generation that just ended just looks like they copy-pasted the GMT-Master and gave it the fixed bezel, it always struck me as a bit lazy

That looks wonderful, I think I should stay offscreen for a while or I will risk feeling the wraith of my wife....

eBay sirens called me to push outside my comfort zone. No idea what I was thinking. Zenith circa early '60s. Will post better pictures when it's in hand. 40T caliber.

Well the Zenith came in on Saturday; here's a better shot of the dial. It seems to be ticking right along. Not bad for 1961,

Well not exactly bought today but picked up from my Christmas holiday in Canada and taken straight to my retired watchmaker who tells me it looks to have been recently serviced, is running excellently and doesn't require anything doing to it (currently running -7 secs a day)........happy days!

It's a 1952 Cal 354 'Jumbo' bumper and I believe this to be an original dial with correct fonts for that time, but please comment if you think differently!!

My late Christmas present to myself. Don't know why but I have had an uncontrollable urge to purchase a silver pocket watch for the last week and think that this one should clean up OK. Probably won't see for about ten days.

A good thing Santa might be resting so he might overlook what a bad boy I have been 馃槵!
My first Mark Speedmaster. Cal 861 mk II to be precise.
I must admit I have not done my homework too well before making a freak bid on this, but could not see too much wrong with it? Some wear but I hope it may come out rather nice with a proper clean and service (and realigning the tachy scale).
BTW I have a grace period on this purchase so if anyone sees something wrong please do let me know!馃榾
