Early 1950’s Bulova Berkshire. Heavy patina on the case!

Bought a Revue watch yesterday from a thrift / charity shop, women's watch but very attractive and in good working order just needing a lens polish, $4.00.
Opened it this afternoon to see what was inside and found a very nice clean Swiss 17 jewel manual wind movement ( then I polished the lens) this prompted me to do some research on the brand.
Pleasantly surprised to see such a good quality brand, had been expecting a non branded HK movement as per the vintage year the watch was produced in not such a collectable brand as Revue watches seem to be.

On my wife's arm.

Recently arrived 165.024 ‘Big Triangle’ - I’m still in awe of the dial, bezel and lume condition! 🥰 Came on its original 1506 bracelet with 16 end links, but I prefer wearing it on a period Tropic strap - just feels right for a diver…
Delivered to Hong Kong on Jan 8, 1968 according to the extract…

Thats amazing

I know you want to laugh, I just picked this up this afternoon and after a battery change its going great.

Edit Our 11 year old ( almost 12) has been lusting after a calculator watch for a good 18 months now so I decided to buy it and wear it to see his reaction, I am being that mean dad 😁, I might even relent and let him have it for next months birthday, or maybe not as we just got him a G-Shock very recently ( a few pages back now)

A sparkle-dial 168.022. I thought about buying a bracelet for it, but after losing a couple of auctions for an 1125, I realized that people are using them for new 19mm-lug Speedmasters.

The 1098 fits as well and I can’t recall seeing many of those of 19mm Speedmasters

Thanks, David. 1098/540 is also on my list, but I'm not looking to spend more on the bracelet than the watch. 👍

Just back from service my new to me Roamer 44 rubies from up above.

Watch when it arrived had a problem in that the minute and hour hands wouldn't advance, my Watchmaker accurately diagnosed it as likely to be a cannon pinion problem which he expertly cured, as he said wear due to lack of lubricant but other than that he said the movement was in exceptionally good condition, so I will take that as a win.
Love the case shape and general cosmetic condition of this.

Need to do something about the FIXOFLEX strap, either change it out or find the appropriate end links for it, I do like this strap brand as they are so easy to adjust unlike many other expanders.

Edit just noticed in the photo the marks between 4 and 5 at the dial edge are in the lens and not the dial and not noticeable except on very close inspection and were picked out by the camera, might have another polish to remove them rather than replace the lens as this one appears to be the original internal date magnifier which is difficult to find now days. Dial looks like new!

Not Omega, but...
Hamilton. 1962 Sea Rover II I think based on photos on internet. Doesn't look like correct hands though. Maybe a Sea Rover B?

While I'm currently saving for a very specific watch purchase before the end of this year, it's often hard not to feel tempted in the meantime. I came close to pulling the trigger on a couple of occasions, but managed to regain control just in time. Must. Not. Waver. And then...

It was a few weeks ago already and it's a stopwatch rather than a wristwatch but this little beauty, priced at €40, was just too inviting to ignore. Sometimes, you simply get lucky.

I was able to order the Smiths PRS-29A during the June Timefactors sale window. Took delivery a few days ago:
