Older than that and the dial is not orange.

Starts with Z?

I was thinking of the "second vowel" after the Z 😉

Like Lou said Jim - you're the Man.

I'm out at the first of the Christmas bashes this afternoon, but this example that has spent almost its entire life in a drawer will be revealed tomorrow. 👍

I had since before an Omega Bullhead with a damaged dial. Now, after 7 years, I suddenly got an opportunity to upgrade my collection with one with flawless dial!

Good job there, looks in really great shape 👍

As promised, here is my AH3639. The condition is quite amazing and I can quite believe the seller when he says that it has been in a drawer for 40 of its 45 years. It is difficult to show just how bright and un-faded the dial, bezel and hands are and I do need to sort out the scratch on the crystal.

This one shows the special long bracelet that, ?I presume would allow it to be worn on top of a wet suit. Unfortunately, it means that I can't adjust the bracelet small enough to wear so I guess my Defy is about to lose its ladder.

Sweet! You know you can remove links. It is a PITA but can be done by opening the links with small needle nosed pliers

Magnificent grab. 👍
I'd keep the original bracelet original. Re-sizing always leaves mark and bent links.

SInce this is in the "Open Discussion" section, does it have to be a watch? 😉

Like Spock in "Star Trek", every three years or so, the car shopping madness takes over and I can focus on nothing else. That is over now.

That's a stock photo, but my new baby is exactly the same. There are three separate manuals just for the infotainment system.

I have some studying to do.

This is the 428I, not the 435i. That would be overkill for me. Speed Racer, I'm not.

Don't pay a lot of attention to the horsepower at 240. It's a lot for a 4-cylinder engine, but not overwhelming. Look at the torque at 255 lb.-ft. That's a lot for any vehicle and makes you smile when pressing the gas pedal.

Edit - Just noticed your avatar. I drove the latest Mustang with the Eco-Boost. An engine slightly larger than the BMW with over 300hp. Pretty amazing. But no convertible yet, and the back seat (it's my only car and I do take clients out on occasion) is unsuitable for humans.

Take care,

Oh yes, plenty of torque there 😉

I'm not a big fan of the newer Mustangs either - I prefer the earlier ones, such as www.1967mustang.dk 😀
