I've bought 21 Vintage watches this week probably only 5 or 6 that will amount to much but I did on the brighter side get 10 or 12 NOS GP expander straps still in their packaging and whole bunch of good looking Vintage SS bracelets and assorted others, all from 3 separate deals.
Wont know fully what I got till the shipments come in next week.

I keep telling my self, no more new purchases but its like I cant help myself ::facepalm1:: the same happens most weeks but normally only 3 to 5 watches. Happy collecting all.

Fraternal twin brothers from different mothers....I picked up the Longines pictured below several years ago at a flea market, it dates to circa 1955 based on the movement's serial number. The Wittnauer "Gold Medal", having a similar dial to the Longines, was a recent auction acquisition. The Longines movement is an in-house 19AS. The Wittnauer movement is based on an A. Schild cal. 1361.

Found this little gem on Facebook.

Ecole D'Horologerie St. Imier ( School of watchmaking St. Imier) from 50's with hand finished movement and Reed's regulator. This watch was made as final graduation exam.

Very happy with this purchase. 🥰

some will be serviced and restored.
Particularly pleased by the Owix Eastmaster, Citizen automatic, Caravelle auto and the Nivada manual wind.

My first Eterna, a humble one, but I'm really happy with it. A quick strap change and it is on the wrist 😀

It’s an Eterna Matic 1000. Very similar to yours. I also avoid literature and prefer indices to numerals and NO SUB DIALS!!

Nice!!! Don't know much about Eterna, nor their movements. Does the 1000 makes reference to the movement?

I actually bought it from my watchmaker... Picking up my watches he was servicing, I noticed it... And voilà... Left with an additional watch 😀

Yours is a great addition.
But I’m afraid I haven’t much idea about the classification. I assumed that it was merely a styling.
