Just pre-ordered the new Synchron Military Re-Issue in stainless steel.
Hopefully ships this month.

Also available in DLC

Ironically my only black cased watch (Seiko 'Ninja' Turtle) might be the one that has to make way for this.

I'd have never sprung for one of the originals (Doxa) though I do have a few Doxa Subs; both vintage and re-issues.
Happy with the price of this one despite the apparent size of the crown / lack of cut-out and the word 'military' on the dial.

Couldn't see a thread on here about it but already causing a bit of (WUS/instagram) watch controversy. Doxa v Rick Marei camps again.

Links if you enjoy that kind of stuff / (are bored):

Possible Doxa comeback:

Basic Watch.
Well, I’m not sure I’d ever describe an Omega as a ‘basic watch’, particularly a nice one like yours

Yes I know what you mean, but not lots of complications, just tells the time and date. Less to go wrong and lower service costs.
Happy you like it. J.

Just arrived last week after being purchased and then serviced. In need of a proper Omega seconds hand and a bezel spring - other than that a good, honest example of a SM300 from '67. And it only took a year.....!

Same watch and dog, but I did get a new ‘artisan' strap ... for the watch

Is that an Old English Sheepdog catching a nap behind your Seiko?

Thanks. He’s actually a two year old rough coated Parson Russell terrier - a bit smaller than an OE sheepdog but with a typical terrier 'big personality'.

This one came in today ! Thanks @X350 XJR : nice & cute one.
It is a small little fellow but very neat. My wife likes it so this will become her first vintage watch 😀
A strap is on its way from Torre on IG.

Technically i didnt buy this but i Think it counts anyway. When i was at the watchmakers another customer spontanioulsy asked to trade with my Omega Genéve ref 135.070 for his ref 2536-8. He apparently had a thing for vintage Omegas with colored dials (mine was blue). I believe this reference is quite uncommon or am i wrong? I think i made a good trade if i say so my self 😀
