145.022 69 DON My first vintage Speedmaster "catch " Bought it from a very nice man ( but frighteningly effective negotiator)
Very Beautiful ! & nice & inspiring pairing with the strap ! I hope you won't mind me stealing your idea
Thanks to @ConElPueblo who pointed this one out. It was advertised as a certina skin diver from 1968 while it was a 37mm 1st gen kontiki from 1958. I'm planning to restore it but I will start a separate thread for some advise. But it sure will go nice together with my 1968 kontiki.
Arrived last week, just resized it. Railmaster bought from a private seller on Chrono24. Smooth transaction. Very happy with my 4th Omega.
This arrived yesterday. It is a bit of a beast but I like it: the dial changes from grey to black depending on incident light. Made in 2006 but very few signs of wear.
In the dying hours of 2020 my resolve has failed me and this is the result, when I will see it in the flesh is anyones guess
This is a Mark XVIII "Tribute to Mark XI" - uses the modern XVIII case (40mm) but with the awesome original Mark XI hands and dial style. Love it! And that sneaky diver in the background is a Heuer 844 Monnin, of course
