On a G-Shock binge recently (I know). This Rangeman just arrived a few minutes ago. Have a Frogman on the way as well. Looking to collect all Master of G series.

It said recently so I went back to November. To be precise missed few.

Good Lord, well have to stage an intervention if this keeps up. But, great choices. Congrats and enjoy!

Newest family member. 18k beefy with gilt dial and 18k original bracelet

I was sorely tempted by that one... Congrats!

Are there any Omega stamps in the clasp? I would have guessed it was an aftermarket piece due the clasp mechanism and endlinks.

Yep.
Fitted at the jeweller's where the watch was purchased as a cheaper alternative to the Omega-produced option. Omega-produced gold bracelets are fairly rare while these are much more common.

Thanks! Thats a bummer... guess I will return it then... have the Omega logo been fitted later on? Strange to sell Omega branded AM bracelets at AD...

It was very, very common. The vast majority of vintage, gold Omega bracelets are just bracelets with an Omega logo soldered on the clasp in varying quality.

I guess the times were a lot different then, wheb considering trademark practices and brand restrictions alike.

It is still a very, very cool watch. You could always have a look for a gold flat-link bracelet to add to it at some point if you intend to go full bling 😎
