Purchased another ‘69 Chronostop, and somehow ended up with a few extra straps/bracelets and clasps! I used one clasp and some locking ends and had a strap made by Steveostraps (recommended-excellent craftsmanship). The second Chronostop shall be passed on to my brother, once it’s been serviced.

Very jealous about the racing strap.

Hi folks. I just received this new 40mm Dekla Pilot-A watch from Stuttgart on Monday after waiting since late September for them to machine it. I am super impressed with the quality German craftsmanship against the price (half Stowa prices). They offer good customisation, it comes with a proper swiss movement and all the other bits they make themselves in house. I couldn't be happier with it.

Yes, mine is a graduation gift from 1967.
It's running although very slow, so I'm looking for a place to have the movement cleaned and lubed.

Looks great! I’m yet to try the mesh bracelet on mine. How nice that you have had the watch all this time.

Hopefully one day, obviously current world conditions are having an effect on shipping and I am not complaining as it is only a watch 🙁

UPDATE - after deciding to take a trip via Tokyo the package appears to have now set off on its travels once more but where next 😁
