If it is a redial....., I would have one or two to have done.....
Seems it's a special limited edition of one only. 😁

Couldn't afford Alex's untouched example - went for this instead.

I was watching that one. I´ve long wanted one of these, it´s my favourite Longines `modern vintage`.

I´m curious are you going to attempt a dial clean?

Probably not - I neither have the know how nor know of anyone who can execute the dial clean without compromising the details. PM me if u have someone trustworthy to do so.

Was wondering as well how many OFers were eyeing this one - broke my rule on condition for this, I found that the patina added to the appeal for this case.

My first vintage in a couple of months, one I've wanted for the longest, a really nice Hamilton Ardmore with the stick dial.

(addendum: just saw that WBAW has one with refinished dial for about 3X what I paid 😗)

I picked this up yesterday. Seller's pics. I'll post some wrist shots once it arrives.

Edit: Big thanks to dsio and Kyle L for their assistance!

Cool caseback! I consider myself a caseback junky!

A big bastard vintage chronograph bought today.😀
Late 1960s Valjoux 92 Nivada Grenchen Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver.
Not normally buying done and serviced watches, but this one had my name on it.....

BTW: Starting to feel like a bad dog these days, always on the lookout for the mailman😜!

Oooh.. just a little number in white gold.

The picture does it so little justice, it's untrue; but it'll have to suffice until I can get home and use better equipment than this camera phone and hotel room lighting:

These have a vey solid tool watch appeal, IMO, burly hands, and thick.

I like it, well done.

In the meantime, though, I just bought this from a Brescia, Italia seller.

Here's one of his pics (I'll be sure to post a wrist-shot right-side-up when it gets here 😉:

Edit: A big THANKS to MMMD for his help!

You bought an upside-down watch? 😲😲 Can you sue MMMD?

I know, right?

MMMD didn't tell me it was a backwards re-dial, on a Lefty watch...

I guess it's just one of the risks of buying an Italian watch on eBay... but still....

I'm PISSED!😡😡

Honest answer is I bought these 2 Timex watches for £5! I liked the straps and can always perform an autopsy on the bodies for a lesson or two! Described as run for a few seconds when shaken but broken.
