Like it, rich rustic look
thanks! At a closer look the finishing is rather sloopy, but the nice color makes up for it 馃榾.

Really nice pick-up. Very attractive, and those Alpinas are underrated. The cases are especially nice.

Cheers,

Tony C.

Do not forget the 59x movement. They are excellent quality and very nicely finished for this category watches. Not Patek but very decent craftsmanship.

Yep, no self imposed moratorium here....

Need lots more shots of this one.
Go to town showing off the height and case lapping.
Lovely.

Posted in the WRUW section as well. Alpina cal 592. Picked up at less then we pay for a full case of beer. Movement is prestine (but dry) partly due to the use of a designated dust cover, and dial has aged very gently for a +/- 60 year old watch.
The crystal was damaged, and the sellers picture not very flattering. I think the improvement of a new crystal and a 30 minutes of cleaning was worth the efforts?
(First photo is sellers pic.)

It's like looking at two different watches. Beautiful. Nice pickup!

I picked this up yesterday. Seller's pics. I'll post some wrist shots once it arrives.

Edit: Big thanks to dsio and Kyle L for their assistance!

Congrats! One of the best modern interpretations of a vintage iconic watch IMHO

I just bought this yesterday. Has anyone seen this type of textured dial before?
If it is a redial....., I would have one or two to have done.....
