French Lip “Frigo”, circa 1974, designed by Roger Tallon, who also created the branding for the TGV.

bezel looks flawless, mine has dings but still lovin it

The previous owner must have kept this thing in a drawer and not even subjected it to light use, which I appreciate... it was like buying a brand new watch (just probably a little overdue for a service).

Pre-ordered this November 1, arrived yesterday. Long Covid-19 delay. Love the size. In some ways it is like a vintage watch, but also very modern feeling. I also like the tip of the cap to a Rolex big crown, but not trying to be a copy.

Just ordered this 1969 Air King and it will arrive Tuesday. It will keep me company as I just sent my Seamaster out for servicing.

Mine. And I just gotta add, its so versatile on diff strap options

Looks great! And, definitely versatile... was trying to find photos by @Eve from a different thread and couldn't find them... there's one where it looks just fantastic on a Nato and then a black rubber strap from one of the new SMPs.

15j Sturmanskie with hacking seconds, and fully lumed centre seconds - original 'pillow' crown worn down - I have a spare crown in great condition but this one tells a story. The story of survival 😀

How are you liking yours? An Oyster Perpetual date is still on my list haha.
I am really happy with it. It has an amazing dial, fresh service, -2 a day, and it it is in great shape.

Well my second purchase of lockdown has arrived. I love it. It’s a “Seiko sports 5 x Brian May “ Special Edition SRPE83K1.

What makes this Seiko 5 unique is its dial. It has been faithfully modelled after The Queens legends own Red Special guitar, which was built entirely with hand tools by Brian and his dad in the early 1960’s.The red and black colour scheme is echoed on the dial with a guitar silhouette on the left and wood grain pattern throughout the red.
The dials angled, internal minute track is also red and “Red Special” has been added in script on the dial. A Hardlex crystal covers the front, surrounded by a unidirectional bezel with a detailed 60-minute scale. The case is water-resistant to 100 metres.
The watch has a mineral crystal exhibition caseback Which displays the in-house Calibre 4R36 automatic. It has 24 jewels, beats at 21,600vph (3Hz) with a 41-hour power reserve. It’s has Brian’s signature included on the glass in yellow with a limited edition serial number engraved in the steel.
The Watch comes with is a NATO-style black nylon strap with a stainless steel pin buckle, styled similarly to the strap Brian now uses on his guitar.
The watch comes with a Presentation case which is Designed in accordance with the Red Special’s custom flight case, the presentation box also contains a commemorative coin that is based on the sixpence that Brian uses as a plectrum.
The lune is what you would expect from a Seiko..The picture below shows the lune after about 5 secs exposure outside.
