A Circa 1920s Hebdomas “8 Jours” pocket watch... $167 off the Bay. It’ll sit in my office as a conversation starter.
Very cool 😎 Congrats!

I might need to study the watch photography forums to better catch the beauty of this new acquisition.

Oh oh....
Recently did 2 silly things!
First found a very nice 1969 gold capped Constellation day/date with black leather strap and gold Omega buckle. Near pristine shape. Should arrive soon!
Now have a bit of history and my first example of a Automatic chronometer.
Good price. Lucky find.

Secondly... New Seamaster Planet Ocean 600 GMT Titanium/Blue strap ti/ clasp.
Didn’t have a Sea Master in the stable. Do now! On its way. Tick Tock!
Now I’ve got to make room for these. Anybody want some Special Edition Hamilton’s ?
Waiting semi patiently!

Sadly I’ve had very little opportunity lately to photograph the watch herd. Soon as the Sea Master GMT arrives I certainly will get this done . I’ve been fortunate to build a reasonably pretty collection of Omega Beauties, with a few Hamilton Sci Fi
Watches and a Rolex Explorer 2 thrown in. 8 Omegas when the new baby arrives.
I grateful for all the knowledge this forum has given me! Learned a lot from all of you!

I was thrilled when Omega announced its 1957 Trilogy 60th Anniversary collection. After debating between the Speedmaster and the Seamaster 300, I decided to pull the trigger on the Speedmaster. Well, today, I decided to throw in the towel and take the plunge on the Seamaster 300:

I've been amazed that these and the Railmasters are still available. In this year alone, I’ve seen about a dozen Seamaster 300’s at multiple ADs across the US.

I'm a big fan of this current trend on re-issues, especially those pieces that pay tribute to dive and pilot watches. This one has been tugging at my heart for a while. I love the Omega symbol on the domed sapphire crystal.

Impressive lume:
I just picked one up today. I'll post photos when I receive.

This is not my purchase, but a big surprise from my wife. There is a backstory, but bottom line I have acquired my dream watch....74st with an immaculate dial and excellent patina. I’m just floored.

Next step: extract from the archives application 🥰
