The OF marketplace is almost as amazing as the depth of knowledge here. This arrived from a member today.

Edit: Damn it, it's the 3rd! I'm not retaking the photo.

I already posted about this on purchase day, but this arrived today. X-33 Gen2. Very happy with the watch in my first hour with it. Swapped in a nato as I’m not much of a bracelet guy. Great addition to the Speedmaster family.

My last watch purchase. I wear it now and again but use it mainly to setup my other watches.

Picked up the PO LM LE with a complete set in fantastic condition. Finally joined the 1948 club after so many years looking at pictures. The watch is amazing in person.

Bought from flea bay & listed as a 70s vintage diver with some pretty poor pictures , this Citizen 62-6198 was destined for me . I had seen one for sale at my local watch repairers when I took my Seiko Seahorse in for some work ,but he wants silly money for it . So I thought I would see what's about at a reasonable price & trawled the wonder web for information on them ,& while these are by no means rare they don't really get much exposure in the wis world pretty much like most citizen watches . But I'm really impressed with the quality of this watch & even more impressed with the build quality & condition of it given its from March 74 according to the citizen dating tables I've seen, which is a early production month for this model and has the neat red date wheel. The lume colour is something else for a 45 year old watch & almost looks like it's been relumed , which it hasn't been .And the crystal is just on another level compared to most watches I have , the bezel insert is a quality later repro which I can live with given finding a nos one is pretty much impossible I believe. The bracelet is a later pro master one ,& small things like this don't bother me .

Had a missed call earlier today. IPhone suggested it was my local AD, which got me pretty excited, as I have ordered both a Submariner (altough I don’t expect it to arrive anytime soon) and the new Datejust 36 introduced at Basel 2019. I called back, took off early from work and paid then a visit and now this beauty is mine 😀 One month ago when I ordered it I was told they would probably be able to get it before Christmas but I didn’t imagine it would go this fast.

Rolex deliveres. This is an absolutely stunning watch and I am over-the-Moon about it.

I was a bit torn between this and the black dial, which was featured in all the reviews from Baselworld because I thought this silver dial might look wrong: the silver dial and white markers being too close in colour. Also because the initial photos of the silver dial looked boring.

But it is perfect. The absolutely right balance and it was love at first sight. The same feeling I got when I got my first Rolex, a Submariner 14060M, a couple of years back.

And even though I am primarely a vintage or “used watch” guy I must admit there is something about a brand new and fresh from the factory Rolex 😀😀

New ( old stock ) arrival. A cal. 712 Constellation with tritium dial. I've read that this is the thinnest automatic Omega ever made. Serial starts with 231 and dates 66-67 somewhere.

Two purchases in one week she says , I know love but I just had to have this one , it was sat in a display case all lonely & staring at me with its puppy eyes I said ... I just couldn't leave it there ,& besides I will look after it & take it for walks ( obviously wearing it on my wrist it will go where I go ) . Mrs CPR then sighed ,rolled her eyes & I knew I was out of the doghouse . Anyway enough of my shaggy dog tales , it's a Seiko 7006-8040 from March 73 on a rather lovely beads of rice bracelet . I haven't really got many dressy watches in my collection ,so it nicely fills a little gap .
