These two

These two look definitely fake to me. Sorry, the ugly bit of grey jacket we can notice in the first picture gave it. ::stirthepot::

An uncommon and perhaps even rare Datejust with a blue mosaic dial and a smooth bezel on its original oyster bracelet in nice condition. Took over a year to find one so quite pleased to finally land it.

Enjoy

The case back engravings are pretty damn crisp. Usually they're half gone. That's a nice addition. 👍
How much will i pay for this watch omega de ville cal 1459

Well this weekend a few things popped in to the basket but most interesting is the one below. Kind of unexpected when visiting one of my whatch buddies he pulled out this beauty . Not really my piece of pie but when I held it and noticed the condition I just had to have it 😁.. My first C-shaped Connie..

This was a gift from my father in law that belonged to his father. Solid gold case and 987f movement. It would run for several seconds if kept level, which led me to believe it had a damaged balance pivot. I stripped it down yesterday to have a look and found a very nice movement with a balance staff with just the very tiniest part of the lower pivot gone. It was enough. Luckily I had a few assorted 987 staffs and had it re staffed quickly and after cleaning and re assembly had it keeping fair time. I didn’t poise it. Call me lazy. It will only sit in display. The staffs on these old military watches were easily broken when dropped, especially if they landed on the edge. Now it’s ready for the next generation.

I bought two of these Wakmann triple date reverse pandas in two days. The second is a little rough but I'm confident it will clean up nicely.

New daily...
A great daily watch. I wore one daily for years. It may be my favorite of all. In fact, I wore it today. Has to be black, though.

Fab! This appears unworn. Don’t let the bezel fool you. This wouldn’t be safe to wear in London fog. Runs like a one-jewel top.

My first trial and error in fixing an Omega. Think I’ve bitten off more then I can chew. I do like the style of this old one though.

Hello. After hitting it good with a 60’s constellation that had only the second hand running. I was lucky it wasn’t even a bad cannon it was just loose. So anyway came across this dynamic. Dial looks nice but back of the case is scratched. I have two original bands but not the piece that locks the band into place. It’s running fine I do have more info on it just not in front of me right now. So l will get it serviced Monday make sure everything is OK then figure out what to do about the band or bracelet situation. I like when these little moves work out like I said it’s not mint and I gotta sink some money into it but I just keep chipping away. Any ideas on the bracelet. Seems a shame to change it to steal when I have two original straps. Excuse my terrible photo skills I’m just in an inconvient location
