Well I bought her ladyship the Seiko a while back and today I splashed out on a new strap for her, yes I know the last of the big spenders
This arrived today. Love the strap, but the buckle is a little too big. Its almost as wide as de watch case.
Nice pick up! It looks good on you. My son and I each have a 1998 Seamaster, for his birth year, but ours are the quartz version.
I needed a watch I could lose in the tropics and not cry about. Pretty cool for sixty bucks. Now I need to look up how to change the date.
Just home from a days auctioning with a few very sweet additions but it's this one I like: He's poorly; been relegated to a drawer since his balance failed but give him a month or three and he'll be ready to join his brother ...
Uncommon Longines Flagship CHRONOMETRE with upgraded cal 30L movement. Thanks to a great OF member @Tony C. for allowing this to stay in the family. Edit: Thanks to Tony for the vintage advertising as well.
Finally bought a cheap black light. Should be fun but I’m not looking in the bathroom, especially as we have two young boys in the house
Got the Anthony Super Compressor (was offered here in the forum) yesterday. After a small adjustmet it runs with + 10sec today. Not bad far a 65 watch. I think I'll look after a new plexi to switch. Anybody any ideas how to source best?
Never heard of Anthony, but I like the style of the hands and the color of the dial. Does the lume still glow?
