    This just arrived...

    Seamaster reference 2576
    caliber 344 (COSC)
    stainless steel case
    black guilloche dial
    serial 14.1 million

Gorgeous dial, absolutely great condition, and I love the style of the Arabics.:)

Thanks Alex (Dablitzer). Just a couple of quick snaps before I send it off to the spa.

I really wasn't going to buy a watch today, I started the day telling myself that. I was only going shopping for a new belt (Allen Edmonds...actually bought 2, one in shell cordovan, another in chromexcel leather), but then decided to check out our new local AD for Nomos and walked away with a Tetra with silver dial...

Nothing horological, a small gift for the good lady to add to her collection. You know it makes sense ;)

Just received a nice, and rather unusual, CK 3611. I overpaid it but, you know how it is, I wanted it.......

Here is the 3611 in a 1939 catalog (not sure that it is the correct ref as the lugs do not look faceted on the catalog, but its the closest, and only squre 23.4SC other than the 1936 Medicus, that I've found) :

Bought this today. My wife realised that the addiction needs to be fed, and gave her blessing. Heroin addicts get Methadone, but there's no substitute for Omega. Thanks dear, I feel on a high! Speedy.JPG

Wouldn't you know, as soon as I bought the vintage Seamaster, an Electric Blue that I've always lusted after came up, and again, I couldn't resist...

That means, my first two Omegas, although they were born 50 years apart, I bought less than 10 hours apart!

That's certainly good to hear, especially from you..thanks!

I think you have a very similar one in the sales forum, circa 1956?
