Just gave myself this SUN023 GMT for my birthday last week as a funky weekender...love the color combo! Came with 4 straps incl 3 of these natos in orange, black, and blue, plus the original rubber. I'm trying to figure out how to charge the kinetic movement using the toothbrush charger method...no luck finding the sweet spot yet!
Congratulations! Thought of buying one but never pulled the trigger. Looks like it's in a stunning condition as well?
As I'm holding a very similar bracelet in my hand right now, I have to ask, are there any markings on yours?
I've been looking for an understated blue dial Rolex for some time now and finally had a chance to pick up this original and unpolished example from 1974.
I bought myself a Christmas present earlier than usual this year. With more than four weeks of the year left, is it too dangerous to say this will be my last of 2018? Breitling Top Time 2002, waterproof, circa 1967. The sunburst dial is flawless - all those scratches and marks are on the glass. One dealer looked at it, looked at me and asked "I didn't think you liked pristine dials?" .
It is thick - I think it is around 15 1/2mm IIRC. That said, I think it wears well with the 42mm case. I don't wear a lot of dress shirts but it fits under the long sleeve shirts I do wear.
I use to feel the same but learned to try things on rather than live in a world of potentially false absolutes. This came about after trying on the 48mm Breitling Avenger Blackbird going into it thinking I love the looks but it was too big. The curved lugs and titanium make it a totally wearable watch and it's been in my collection for 4+ years not and I still love it.
