Bought my third Speedmaster. Arrived yesterday. 25th Anniversary Apollo XI in white gold. More modern than my usual taste but fell in love at first sight. After missing out on Scott's, had to have one

For a man on a tight budget, a kept on a tighter leash, it is hard to resist a clean, classic Lemania. This one arrived this week from Latvia

Collected 2 new purchases over the week.
First up is a Omega YG Constellation. Always loved the no crosshair, piepan+ arrowhead dial combination. I also have a soft spot for the dog leg lugs, so when it came up on this forum from an established and trusted member, I jumped on it. All thanks to the very helpful seller!

Then this PP2508 came along, and again the dial made me do it!

Both together now. Trying to figure what straps to pair them with...

Thanks for looking!

I finally snagged one that I've been after for a while...if you're a lover of vintage chronographs and haven't looked into Movado, do yourself a favor and start reading! Fascinating brand that unfortunately lost it's way in Quartz Crisis (but produced extremely high quality watches up until then).

Saw this Elgin Germany marked self winder and got it for a very reasonable price. I'm sure its not a valuable watch and barely collectible, but the condition as well as the styling speaks volumes.
Actually I've had an image of just such an Elgin in the back of my mind for a long time, must have seen one somewhere long ago and been impressed.

Size looks just right, I hope the band fits without alteration.
I might spring for a crocodile band for this one, since the one I've had on my mind had one.

First modern watch purchase in a dog's age. It overcame all of my deep-seated prejudice against faux-vintage. After a couple of weeks, I remain very impressed.

This is one of those irresistible pieces for me as well. I keep staring at em. 馃憤

Here鈥檚 a watch type I normally wouldn鈥檛 even think about buying, but it was so beautiful and it had such an authentic-looking vintage style in the pre-release photos, that I had to try it out.

The quartz movement (Seiko VK63), means it鈥檚 amazingly affordable, so at the very least, a very cool beater...

It just came today, and it certainly did NOT disappoint in any single aspect (but I already knew it was meca-quartz 馃榿):

Congrats!!

Thanks, Spencer..

..and in case you were wondering, it鈥檚 a 1964 Aston Martin DB5 on the back..

so...the beads-of-rice is quite amazing and vintage-like as well... super everyday, every-condition wearable watch at 38mm.

Got this from the bay. Sec hands dropped during delivery via FedEx. Gonna try to bring it to my watchmaker to reinstall it.

Cool part of the watch is that it's 37mm fixed lugs though.

I鈥檝e added Connie on top of my collection! The most left one is the first authentic watch my parents gave me... I was with it for most of important moments.
