My impulse control is just terrible... Just won this riverted and flexed C+I USA rolex oyster marked 7-60 and clasp marked Acier Inox, Rolex SA Swiss.... But I don't know much about flexed oyster. . Ok buy at 730 EUR? Or fake....?
Habring Pilot Deadbeat seconds . Longtime hunt to find any Habring, let alone GPHG 2013 Seconde Morte !
I'm going snorkeling next month when I go on vacation so I figured I should get a water resistant watch. I picked this little Seiko 5 up for $75 ($82 after shipping). Next year I am thinking of going scuba diving so this will be getting replaced with something a little better before then.
Aside from the fact that another watch anytime is a good watch, why buy another then if this is good now? Have fun -kfw
If I wind up going scuba diving I'll want an actual driver's watch and not just a water resistant one, I'm not confident that this one could withstand scuba diving.
...Are you planning on going deeper than 100M? It'll do more than fine - but having an excuse to buy another watch is always a good thing
I've never owned a golden dial watch but something about this patina'd Conquest was irresistible to me. And, I find that it pairs rather well with it's older sibling.
Personally If they find my bloated hag fish chewed corpse below 600 feet I'd rather my watch had stopped around the time I sank to the bottom. That way there would be a ball park time of death for the insurance company.
Honestly, probably not as it will be my first time diving. What's up with everyone trying to talk me out of another watch? You guys are supposed to supportive in my mental illness. Maybe you are right though and I should just save my money up and buy a Super Kontiki if I decide that diving is for me.
It's probably best to save the sub 100m dives until at least your second go. Anyway, who needs an excuse for another watch?!
