My first Speedmaster came in. I bought it pre owned, I like broad arrows and as a plus it was pretty affordable. I’m getting ready to put a strap on it now.

Another Tissot Antimagnetique beater. At least it has been through a lot. But those lugs 😀🥰

Just landed this Wakmann triple date Chrono, from a different seller than the one I was concerned about in my post earlier this week. Very pleased. Tossed a crappy black strap, but now need to find a darker grey pilot-style strap with a touch of red stitching to make the dial really pop!

My soon to be 13 yr old daughter was pushing my buttons this morning, so I left the house and hit a few antique/thrift shops that she and my wife hate to have to sit through me wandering through. Found this early 70's Seiko with what I believe is an original Seiko BoR bracelet. I was pretty sure the bracelet was worth more than the $10 plus tax that was being asked. Looking on eBay, I believe the bracelet is worth 5 to 6 times what I paid for the watch. The case looks unpolished to me. I did clean the DNA off it, otherwise it is as found. It is running and stopping, so I will probably just eBay it for the value in the band, but it is a decent looking watch and I may take it to my watchmaker first. There is a small nick on the crystal at the 3 marker. Kinda wish it would run, even though Seiko isn't my brand.

I just brought this Omega 166.088 from the original owner who used it when he was diving. The dial after about 6 months or so had water ingress and the dial was replaced by an Omega service agent which ended up being a 600m Ploprof dial. I actually like the dial in it but as you know it is not true and correct for this model. I have been lucky to purchase a NOS 120m /440ft dial from one of our members recently which I will have fitted overtime. Cheers Russell.

Not yet an arrival but I did buy very recently one of these... bit of an impulse (how unusual is that?) to address the black dial diver desire. The black dial diver desire exists only because my lovely blue wave OP is away for a service.
It clearly isn't a diver in the big chunky style but some while ago I enjoyed the company of a microbrand with a quite similar style of dial. I have enjoyed the super compressor style of case before, so, all in all, I'm very hopeful of a happy relationship. I've also snapped up this JDM Seiko 7T34. I've long, long had a strong bond with watches with this movement.

1948, Eterna- Matic. This is a very important model especially in Horological significant. The case is Eterna's bumper automatic bubble back case, but it houses their very first 5 ball bearings movement calibre 1198R. Lovely watch, fancy lugs, if you can find one, in my opinion they are so undervalued!!.

A good friend of mine, a Rolex-loving young man with a few Rolexes and other high-quality watches, BMW and a gun lover; he and I have a lot of common interest to talk about. I have been talking to him for a while to stand out of the crown and find the joy of collecting and wearing and admiring vintage OMEGAS. Looks like he got himself converted and bought this watch from a Pawn Shop on last Friday, his first vintage Omega - WOW what a find ......😀😀. But what do I know? I am a newbie myself and no expert by any means, so I present the pictures here for you (village elders) to comment about the authenticity and condition, also do you consider this is an okay deal at less than 2k?

Reference number 145.022 caliber 861 and Serial # 44128xxx

Thank you for all the help and appreciate all comments, good and bad.

Yes, pretty good pickup for under 2k. With bracelet, box and papers it's pretty solid

Sitting around having coffee and decided to buy/fund a Kickstarter watch which is a first. Just something about the clean look. Thinking of the black dial with white chapter ring (no date version) in 38mm. It’s dangerous being up so early and just browsing around!

Bought Seiko Prospex at a price that I think is pretty good deal for brand new and manufacturer warranty ( and also got $85 back in rewards )

Cant wait for it to be delivered!

This just in from @ConElPueblo . The BoR is my attempt at trying something new with these and I do like the look. May end up getting a wider bracelet to better fit the 19mm lugs though.
