Just arrived! My first impression was HEAVY! Good Lord!

There's nothing understated about this watch except the wave on the dial - and maybe on another watch it too would be over the top:

Not too bad a condition, a ding on the bezel saves me the bother.

Bracelet almost a perfect fit, a little too big. This is the most modern Omega bracelet I've owned and I need to figure out the small adjustment if it's there...

Didn’t think I’d be buying another watch any time soon, in the process of trying reduce at the moment and will be selling a Diwen regulateur, Glycine 3 movement multiple time zone watch and and Rpaige soon, but this popped up...

My first watch in 2018, I was looking for one for quite a while. Just perfectly fits with my gp Polarouter.
Seller pic: Black crosshair dial (with original lume dots) looks to be in good condition, original hands, nice ss case with good looking lugs and early 138 movement.
So a bad week, lying ill in bed most of the time, finally comes to a good end.

God, too much bought in the last two days to go through. I really have to stop buying broken watches! There are 6 watches due back this week; I've got three here to go for service; another that needs some real TLC; yet another "incoming"; and, a whole host of non-watch stuff (some of which I really love!).

    So we have ...
    IMG_20180218_0928079.jpg
A Breitling Superocean, boxed with all papers that I think will be a straight flip
    IMG_20180218_0932269.jpg
A Bulova M6 214 that is a total gamble ... case and dial are great, the movement is poorly. Hoping it'll be a simple fix or else it will go to auction as is:
    IMG_20180218_0928226.jpg
Then there's this WWI Swiss movement in a really odd English silver case:
    IMG_20180218_0928477.jpg
And, as if that's not enough, there's also an early 19th century pair cased fusee ..
    IMG_20180218_0937044.jpg IMG_20180218_0937401.jpg IMG_20180218_0938089.jpg
It's a little belter that just needs cleaning and oil. There's a late 18th century pair case coming in that is so incredibly well made ... fantastic square columns.

Then there's a whole host of really nice English coins from the 17th through early 19th centuries and some brilliant 16th and 17th century Arabic coins (that are going to take ages to identify properly but there are silver dirhams and rare bronzes). This one's my favourite:

This is a 1689 gun metal half crown, minted in either Dublin or Limerick during the Williamite Wars by James II to pay Irish troops wintering between campaigns. Super rare and in great condition.

A 3570.50 last week (traded GMT II Coke and got cash back in the deal), and this weekend a GSOTM for my son's college graduation in a couple of years (I traded my spare NIB POLMLE and added some cash to get him his favorite).

Speedy is here now, GSOTM ships via FedEx after the weekend.

Well, my february budget is gone so it looks like this is it. I picked up a connie 168.010, a union ancre valjoux 7733, a IWC R 804A and a seamaster 166.010. I'm wondering what March will bring. Thinking of a polerouter or nivada diver. Hmmm...

Bought last year but only recently arrived due to shockingly poor service from the auction house. Quite happy though as it's much better than it appeared in their shockingly poor photograph :)

Heuer 202.508 wrist stopwatch. Not exactly a daily wearer but a fun addition to the watch drawer and as a bonus it comes box on an original Isofrane strap.

I got this Zenith Sporto with the somewhat rare 120T(only 18000 movements produced)

Doing some research, as it is an interesting piece. I will do a separate post about it soon ;)
