Well, since you asked...while the dial is pretty, and I do like the model, I do not believe that the bezel is original, nor that the bracelet end pieces are correct.

@Tony C. Yes the bracelet is just an add on :) but I like the look of it.
For the bezel, i thought there is a countdown and non countdown bezel? If its a replacement is it easy to source a correct one?

Does anyone know anything about these things? After some heavy arm twisting, I took it as part of a deal for a watch I really wanted. It runs pretty well and the chrono functions all work. The dial is actually very handsome and clean as a whistle. These cases must be pretty well sealed because I think this bad boy is at least 75 years old.

It says stainless steel back which means chrome plated pot metal 99% of the time::puke:: but this case isn't plated and it's not stainless. What else could it be...galvanized?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Snagged this while visiting TheRetroWatchGuy site. Kind of dig it but I think I will make it an XMass gift to Mrs S ... this has the right amount of funk and perhaps she will stop wearing my dead space view.

Not all chronographs though.. also got this 1968 Grand Seiko manual high beat 4522-8000 with quickset date. This one was at the watchmaker for servicing, just go it back. Running like a dream

Managed to score this one (minus bracelet) for the price of a good sandwich. Windsor Spacematic AR. It's identical to the 1960s Fortis Spacematic AR, but for some reason is branded Windsor on the dial (and crown). Any ideas? Google turns up nothing.

Heavy stainless steel with beefy lugs and an ETA 2452 running strong

Very nice looking Jupiter B&B in 35mm with ss bracelet. Movement might be a Cortebert 599.
Running strong but needs "a bit of" cleaning. The old bracelet was a nice bonus.
Still missing a copper dial in my small collection. Not sure if I should try to let the dial be cleaned carefully by my watchmaker...
