It's a project started by a pilot named Paolo from Italy. He decided to design, prototype and manufacture his own custom watch based on his love of aviation. A pilot's watch built by a pilot. Here's his website: https://www.a-13a.com/shop/en/
So got my poster all framed up now. My wife didn't like the choice of the stainless......What you guys think?
Hi Blubarb, fellow Aussie here. If you care to share I'd love a good watchmaker recommendation down here. Cheers.
Beautiful condition DON bezel arrived today from Sweden, for my 145.012......Courtesy of @joso - Thank you !
I don't want to be rude or anything, but what made you go for this one? It has been severely polished, to put it mildly. EDIT: Not that I don't understand the concept of "impulse buy", far from it
After selling both my Speedmaster and Submariner(sweet offer by a co-worker for both watches) I have put a deposit down on the new Sea-Dweller. Hopefully I will get in mid 2018
Bought this lovely strap from Aaron at Combat straps. By far the nicest strap I got for any watch. Also just got the IWC back from service from our very own Al. He has serviced most of my watches and he never lets me down. It runs perfectly. Then I got this awesome dry rub a week ago from @Baco Noir. If you get a chance you must pick up a pack. Best dry rub I've had. Cheers Chad
Couple of frienda of mine are on the waiting list haha. But if I do sell online (if they are not keen), I'll look for you =)
Picked up this lovely wee Smiths a few months ago but finally got it on a strap and have had a go with the polywatch. Still a long way to go on that front! Absolutely love the hands on this one - and 'made in Great Britain' in the dial is a bonus!
