路This came in today. It's modeled after the A-13A 8 day clock found in many cockpits. It's just dandy.

Who is the maker? Can't quite make it out.
This was picked up off Ebay for little cash outlay in order to sample the convenience of a vintage watch with an alarm feature. Sat in the Post office all Labor Day weekend before being rescued on Tuesday. Had time this morning to photograph it. Since Tuesday morning it appears to have gained about 20 seconds per day. Likely won't be seen again on the Forum until after it has a service and a crystal.

I'm not very familiar with vintage Favre Leuba. I'd figured on picking up a Vulcain Cricket, but this one intrigued me as it appears to be a more uncommonly encountered alarm watch model. Has an attractive stainless steel case of substantial weight for its 34 mm size. The alarm is strident, yet not grating and works great.

I don't want to be rude or anything, but what made you go for this one? It has been severely polished, to put it mildly.
EDIT: Not that I don't understand the concept of "impulse buy", far from it 馃榿
