路Just got my first Zenith, not to large but a bit on the heavy side for wrist attire 馃榾
Out of the box and it's running like a champ.
That麓s lovely, in really nice vintage shape. The case is also very attractive with the enamelling.
I have a real soft spot for these desk clocks, they have great movements, good period design and offer some of the best value in the vintage watch world.
I have a little something with an 8 day movement on it麓s way to me at the moment which I am anticipating greatly. It麓s making very slow progress with Cape Post from South Africa as I type this.

路路惟F InvestiGator(Note that contrary to the Omega catalogs I show, i don't have the original Hamilton ones, but a friend of mine was nice enough to give me scanned copies of some Hamilton catalogs between 1919 and 1939).
Almost all of the Hamilton catalogs from 1910-1977 have been scanned and are avaliable here:

While we are on the subject of Hamilton, I have this 0-size (34mm) Hamilton on the way. Probably a Grade 981:
I took a bit of a chance here since there were no movement pictures, although the watch is advertised as running well. Also, no idea if the case is gold filled or 14K. For the price paid, I really don't care.

I post extracts when someone posts a pre 1950 Omega. That's my way to encourage people to show their hidden beauties....
A new one that I bought recently and received yesterday (maybe I should re-read the 'condition condition condition' introduction post?). Probably the dirtiest watch I've seen since a long time...
I've cleaned it and made it much more attractive (at least to my eyes!). I've posted some pictures of the result in the vintage watches section...

Not a Grade 981 movement as originally suspected, but this one:
A Grade 983. Looks to have been originally assembled in 1913, but likely cased and sold several years later.

I think Adam78 has one with the same movement. A few more of these movements were made than the later 981's, but only a small fraction were used in men's watches. Case is made by Fahys, which was one of the original suppliers to Hamilton. I don't know yet if this particular case is original to the movement.

Not solid gold though, only filled. 馃槵

路Like MMMD, I have broken my "no more gold plate" rule. As more than 1/3 of my collection is Zenith, it has been too long since I last bought a Z, so here is number 24. I don't know the reference, but it is an A761? (possibly A7611?) on its original NSA bracelet. At least it answers the question of what the straight NSA end pieces fit.
