I didn't buy anything new, I had this UG 255 and an Olma Stainless steel case in one of my drawers I just finished re-casing.
Movement has a bit of oxydation that I couldn't clean but I think still deserves a display back .

nice combo! The bezel jives with the sub seconds dial very well. And I agree, a beautiful movement deserves to be seen!

Bought last week, but arrived over the weekend... 2x Seiko Gen 1 RAF military issue, from Jan and June 1990. Both are heading to service, and will get new crystals to tidy them up. My first military watch and first time I've worn a NATO so I'm getting a bit obsessed 😀

The 7a28 was the first analog display quartz chronograph, with 1/20th seconds counted on the whirling sub dial at 3.

Those Seiko Mk 1s are amazingly ahead of their time, 4 stepper motors. Also, very attractive and functional, though I never seemed to use mine as more than a timepiece.

Delivered today, coming from Japan an IWC Cal89 from 1956

Crystal has aged badly, will probably be repalced during next service

Bridge says "adjusted in 3 positions", I can't find many occurrences or explanation about it.
I tought it could be linked to a possible US import code (CYN on balance bridge) but according to Dr Ranfft, CYN was for Prexa and not for IWC.

Got this recently from @JakubL. Love how the light totally changes the character of the blue and how the crystal all but dissapears and makes the blue lacquer look like its 'deep'.
