After a week of awful late winter weather, my 5513 finally arrived and my watchmaker added the link that came with the watch. I'll hunting another bracelet link however. Damn my big wrists! Anyway it's everything I expected. Very happy.
Congratulations what a great looking watch....

The chunky case and dial color seem to compliment each other really well on this piece!

Finally purchased an orange bezel planet ocean.

Orange for my alma mater, wanted it for years and the timing/finance was finally right.

2500 model, was just serviced. I'm hoping I'll be completely content with it. Otherwise, I'll sell eventually and buy an orange bezel display back 8500 in a few years.

I'll update with pictures later on.

Antique centre pickup at the weekend...
1955 Tissot. Cross hair. Appears original and unrestored. And accurate to under 30 seconds day. How much more fun can you have for under 拢50!!!

Went to E.D. MARSHALL'S couple weeks ago to check out the Zenith Classic Cars Edition, well the dial was just WAY too busy for me.Head hung low until I saw this El Primero 36000 VPH Tri-Color hiding in the back of the display case & the rest is history. Instantly fell in love.

Swapped out the Brown Ali for a pair of faded Blue B&S shoes, more suitable for a sport timepiece & me, the jeans & t-shirt guy

馃憤 Thank You.
I joined here to hopefully gain some knowledge about the Omega Seamaster 300 & boy have I learned nothing about it, but I sure learned me some Chronographs & Vintage as well. I never had 1 Vintage watch until I continuously looked @ the WRUW thread here everyday.

Decided to go out hunting today, it has been a while, and managed to bag a couple.

First up an Omega 2300/3 circa 1944 and running sweetly, case in pretty neat condition etc. etc. Unfortunately as expected case screw missing, looks to be sheared so a little extra work for my watchmaker.

Next up a Roamer Calendar in original case, running sweetly with day and date change spot on. Case an original tomato slicer 馃榾

Cracking Roamer - what size is it?
