GORGEOUS!

Safely within the tight limits of "art deco" as well 馃榿

I think it is 1925, so certainly qualifying for Style Moderne status 馃榾

Compax 124104 37mm. Illustrative of the peril one faces in consulting fellow OF members on watches. Never know when they will say ... "don't buy that, buy this! " Ps ... Seller already has dibs if I sell it.

I should know better than to bid on an auction with a hangover. As well as not getting a condition report on a watch.
So all in all not quite sure how this one will turn out.
I wanted a Heuer Autavia 11630 or a 1163V. And I saw one pop up. Price looked good.
Since buying the watch I have now been doing more detailed research馃え
Text book right........::facepalm1::

Will share pics when arrives...good ....bad or indifferent.

A triple first and finally a ball case back opener.

First Girard Perregaux
First Chorom猫tre
First Bracelet

Just picked it up at the post office. I think it's the original bracelet. It has some minor scratches but has never been polished. No watchmaker markings inside either. Keeping great time.

Girard Perregaux Chronometer HF Gyromatic.

No idea why I didn't buy one of these much, much earlier on...

Years of watches piling up on the shelves are finally over! 馃榿

Seamaster 600

Crystal is toast but case is unpolished and was covered in grime. Original dial is in good condition underneath.

No, but well-known, for sure. The Observatory versions are rare, but these are (thankfully) relatively plentiful.
