I wondered what was inside

Its hard to capture this one, and there are a lot of interesting details on the dial and movement that just don't come through on the iPhone pics



I think this one will see a fair amount of wrist time

Pretty standard, occasionally in the U.K. you may be told it has arrived in destination country but that is it until it arrives at your doorstep.

 

What I like about it is its size. Not sure how I'm going to wear it, though.

First brand new watch for a long time...

 

Zenith Rainbow, reference 02.0471.400, "aka "Mango", El Primero caliber 400, full set with all box, warranty, papers, and original MSRP tag ($5400). I am a fan of the Rainbow line, and this is one I've had in my sights for a while. Arrived today from fellow OFer @charleshunter (thanks!).

The same size, though visually smaller on the wrist, as its sibling the Rainbow Flyback. Polished case, screw-down pushers, "standard" chrono caliber with no flyback, uni-directional bezel. And the color... so subtle.



And, I'll take it over this Mango any day.

This arrived today, a Marvin Hermetic Cal. 560, which I got from the bay at a very affordable price. The case is worn, but I like the dial's patina, honeycomb texture and applied markers.

 

In begining of this month got 2 omegas and said that is enough for some time....didnt realize this some time will last only 14 days, but I am sucker on this neo-vintage moonwatches. I bought it becouse it has such a nice long "S".....
