First Vintage Diver! Digging the explorer dial.

The polished bevels on those lugs looks nice, doesn't it?

They sure do! I was completely pleased when I opened up the box, I can confidently say that it has lived a posh life for the last 50+ yrs.

Arrived this morning - Very pleased

This Mark III has some known, & acknowledged problems - A bloody good service required, being one of them !

One issue, I have never encountered before is that, as one winds the crown to charge the movement, the date numerals, also spin synchronously, in tandem ?

Suggestions to cause please ? - wrong / broken stem ?

Case is in very good condition & original bracelet, chrono rests but not quite exactly - it will clean up nicely with TLC

I bet you a good bath / soaking and pro re-assembly will get that movement working as brand new.

Your photos always have so much depth. I'm not sure if that's the right word to describe what I see? But, that's what I see: depth.

This one hit two of my soft spots pretty hard A) alarm and B) conditionally perfect. A pretty respectable seller claiming fully serviced hit another.

It's a good thing a well known brand isn't a big deal; plus I don't have a gold (plated) alarm in the corral so I was left pretty defenseless. At least that's what I'll tell my wife...

A. S. 1475 movement. It looks different than my Bulova wrist alarm movement but the dial and the case are similar to the Bulova in style. The S+F is a mm larger at 35.

Oh, and the seller dates it to around the mid-1960s which seems correct...

Clean! Some watchmakers charge extra because an alarm watch is basically (2) separate movements.

If you know the market price it is already a good point!
I am not so knowledgeable...
