A long search for a sharp steel Chronodato finally bears fruit. Instant favorite.

An inexpensive 12 watch box with a handy tray for straps etc. and a cheap 22mm NATO 馃榾

*edit* Now in position and starting to fill up. Apologies for any horological monstrosities - most of the nice ones are away at the spa 馃槣

Just bought this today...my first Omega! I'm already researching my second purchase (my wife might soon regret telling me I needed a new hobby!!). Anyway I'm glad to be officially joining the ranks of Omega owners!

Got a new rubber strap with a deployant (or deployment for our European friends) clasp. It's not fancy and not on a fancy watch, but it's very comfortable.

Hey that is an improvement on the Seiko original. Where did you get it?

I've been wanting a bronze watch for several years, but never quite found the one to pull the trigger on. This year, the Black Bay Bronze and Oris LE Carl Brashear Diver were released around Basel and piqued my interest further. The Oris is gorgeous with the blue dial but uses as SW200 movement and they want $2k for it. The Tudor has the new in-house movement but I'm not a huge fan of the dial/bezel color contrast (or lack there of) with the bronze case.

I owned a 45mm Ti Helson Shark Diver before and it's one of the few watches I flipped that I regretted selling. They are well built, have a unique look and the lume is amazing. I kept seeing a black dial 42mm bronze FS on another forum and found myself going back to look at it almost daily. I showed it to my wife last week and expected the "you don't need another watch" comment, but instead got the "Wow, that's nice and different than your other watches. I like the bronze. You should buy it."

A few PMs back and forth with the seller and we struck a deal. Today, the tracking number pinged my phone with a text message and I went to the office mailbox to collect it.
Well I was reading this post and enjoying it until I got to this bit:
"I showed it to my wife last week and expected the "you don't need another watch" comment, but instead got the "Wow, that's nice and different than your other watches. I like the bronze. You should buy it."

Your whole story has collapsed in a house of cards. This is clearly a fabrication. No wife, ever, has said this in relation to a watch purchase. (well not in my experience)...

I'm having difficulty navigating the vintage market so I've been trolling newer stuff. I've trouble dealing with bullshit.

Found this in a scary part of Europe so I'm hoping it shows up as advertised with the scary nation deep discount. I feel like I bought this for about 70% FMV. *Seller's photos (the seller is a super cool Albo shitlord!)

Yes, well mine is pretty good really, just doesn't get the watch thing. Doesn't really complain about the purchases, just sighs a bit...
