Who is your strap contact, seem to be happy if your ordering so many?? Got a link (pm if you want) Cheers
I've been hunting for a dark-dial companion to my Tangente for so long, and the answer was staring me right in the face (borrowed pic):
Was hoping it would arrive today but guess I will have to wait to see it when I get back from a cross country motorcycle ride (leaving early tomorrow). Think it will make a nice beater and am hoping the bezel can be replaced.
This SKX009 is unbelievably well built for the money and looks to me like a great travel/surf/beating up kinda watch. I think it cost <3% the cost of my previous purchase ( A GMT). Hard to walk past really. The only challenge maybe to explain why exactly I need those other watches. I am working on the rationale for that in my head. How does "because I want to" sound?
Technically, it wasn't "today", but UPS delived my DSOTM this morning. I'm at work so it's still boxed and waiting. I am very curious to know if this was a good choice of seller and if the watch is in perfect shape (bought new). The hours until leaving the office are going even slower than usual today; But then again, I waited almost 6 weeks for it, guess a few more hours won't hurt. Oh wait, they do...
A couple of new bracelets via the fine offices of my local OB (arranged through this forum). The 1565/976 for my Speedy Racing, and the 1610/930 for my SMPc:
Oh hell may as well add it here too. Just arrived after a 9 month wait. RGM 801 COE. I've bought so many nice vintage watches since I placed the order but psyched to finally have it. Even the Italian leather box is amazing. Grand feu dial. Hand built movement.
I'm buying on advice from others; it's keleran straps form eBay, which have been recommended on here numerous times. I needed one or two 16mm straps for the LeCoultre and a 17mm strap for my GF's Seamasters, which are impossible to find in brick and mortar stores here. The rest are 18mm straps which are good for 90% of my collection - variety is nice Really looking forward to seeing them live!
