Bought this on Monday. Just waiting for it to be delivered. Will not be letting the mrs know what it cost and, as ever, asking for forgiveness is far easier than asking for permission!

This came in the mail today: a Rothco "MadDog" protective watch strap.

I won't be piloting an airliner anytime soon but I'm definitely covered for my next bicycle crash 馃榾

Nice work! 馃憤

Take the rest of the day off...with pay. 馃榿

Double Rothcos today at the donut factory...

I figured that might be the case by the avatar, but then going from rotary to fixed with Delta seemed like an odd segue.

How many years since you flew Seahawks?

I took the long road to the majors...I flew at a Delta Connection regional carrier for over 6 years [to build fixed wing time] in order to get hired at mainline Delta in 2001.

It's been almost 25 years since I last flew the Seahawk...I left active duty in 1992.

I'm sure you guys have seen this. My retired coastie pilot buddy introduced it to me. Be warned, it's not for those offended by cuss words....

It's been a good day today. Watch came this morning, strap and DEPLOYANT (honestly thought someone was gonna shoot me when I first joined and called it deployment) were already in place....

Barely out of the box and I'm already itching to try a strap on it.

Happy Easter folks 馃榾

Yes, I want to see more / hear about how it wears! Quite possibly the only quartz watch I'd consider buying these days...
