An old watchmaker had this in his safe for the last 20years. He was an Omega AD some time back and I managed to get it thru a guy living in the same town as this watchmaker, thats about it

Still waiting on picking mine up from my watchmaker...and then most another trip to have the sweep hand sorted out Picked up this bizarre, and somewhat ugly quartz diver...so many things wrong with this picture but for the money, I could not resist! Pardon the crappy pic. At 41mm and 14mm thick, with a unique bezel lock system, I figure it will make a fine beater.
Ok, so didn't exactly buy this today...but has not been that long, so thought I might get away with it! Been looking for my first omega wristwatch for a while, always fancied one of these... and am very happy to have her on my wrist
So is that a real gator strap, or a gator embossed leather? The authentic ones are rather expensive. I got an embossed leather Croc for the Constellation.
